Duties and Responsibilities:
•Lead 2D, 3D, land, marine and/or OBS, time and depth data processing projects per client specifications utilizing seismic interpretation software, algorithms and workflows.
•Interface with clients (internal or external) regarding project status and data quality control and lead client meetings.
•Efficiently process a dataset from field tapes through migration, to final deliverables at a high quality.
•Perform quality control of data from any part of the workflow.
•Create new insights from a wide range of information, tools, and techniques.
•Direct and delegate assignments and tasks and provide mentorship and oversight to junior team members as part of a small project team.
•Assess what resources are required for project execution and provide high-level cost assessment of project.
•Leverage business sector opportunities and market dynamics to execute the overall Imaging strategy.
•Continually acquire information about Imaging's key clients and stakeholders to advise on how TGS can enhance Imaging's reputation.
•Comply with all instructions given regarding health, safety and the protection of the environment.
Job Requirements (Education and Experience)
•Bachelor's Degree in Geophysics, Geology, Physics or Mathematics.
•Four (4) years of seismic data processing experience as a Geophysicist and/or Geophysical/Seismic Processor in deghosting, demultiplex, regularization, solving more complex geophysical problems and leading teams to deliver quality products on time including four (4) years of experience in geophysical and geological principles, with key processing and imaging technology such as demultiple, tomography and different migration algorithms and with processing and imaging of seismic data of more than one of land, marine, OBC or OBN and from different geological settings around the world.
Special Requirements: Participation in technical interview required. Full-time in office position.
