Avera St. Luke’s is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary

  • Provides professional nursing care for patients in the Outpatient Infusion Center following established standards and practices.
  • The Registered Nurse in the primary nurse role is responsible for utilizing the Nursing Process to provide nursing care for the patient throughout their life span.
  • He/She assumes responsibility for the outcome of nursing care delivered on their shift.
  • Seven-day coverage including holidays and weekends are required.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient’s status.
  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.

Education and/or Experience

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, baccalaureate degree preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of nursing experience is desirable, but not required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Current license to practice in the state of South Dakota.
  • CPR is required.

Work Schedule

  • Day shifts; 72 hours every 2 weeks
    • Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Fridays 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
    • Every 11th weekend in St. Lukes Outpatient
    • Every 11th holiday in St. Lukes Outpatient

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate is dependent upon experience.  

  • $29.50 - $44.25 per hour
