Rentex, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Customer Service Department Manager (CSDM) to manage our Customer Service Managers (CSM). This position can work out of any of our 11 US locations. The Customer Service Department Managers primary duties include reviewing quotes, orders, and other related sales documents. The CSDM will work to enforce and improve sales department policies and procedures while helping the CSMs grow quickly in their positions.

 

What you will do.

  • Interview and hire new Customer Service Managers
  • Train Customer Service Managers
  • Work with CSMs to develop into salespeople
  • Review all quotes and orders written by Customer Service Managers for accuracy
  • Develop policies and procedures to improve interdepartmental communication at Rentex
  • Develop goals for the Customer Service Managers and report out
  • Work with Customer Service Managers to strategically resolve challenging customer-facing issues.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal contact
  • Understand and effectively communicate the companys value, process, and current partnerships
  • Consistently improve your own knowledge of Rentex rental inventory

About you.

  • You can manage a team and hold the individuals accountable
  • You have managed a team for at least two years
  • You can reprioritize tasks and manage all customer expectations to meet deadlines
  • You can effectively manage a high volume of incoming calls and emails
  • You are highly motivated and energetic
  • You have an informed point of view
  • You can quickly make decisions
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • You have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

AV Knowledge

    • You have 5+ years of AV experience in the live events market
    • You have a strong knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and computer equipment
    • You are well versed in standard live event production practices and standards

Sales Experience

    • You have more than 5 years of experience maintaining existing customer relationships
    • You are to understand the impact of operational initiatives from a salespersons perspective
    • You can prepare reports
    • You are proficient at analyzing data, building reports, and making strategic recommendations
