  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

    Job Details

  • Position: Ultrasound Technician
  • Location: Nantucket Cottage Hospital, Nantucket, Massachusetts
  • Hospital System: Mass General Brigham
  • Work Days: Tuesday through Friday
  • Work Hours: 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM
  • On Call: Wednesday 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, weekends on call only
  • Shared housing provided at no cost

    Job Requirements

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certified by ARDMS
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Primary Source Verification of professional license and/or certification required within 30 days of start date
  • MGB FEMA ICS 100 Training must be completed, no exceptions
  • Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date and updated annually
  • Color Vision test within 365 days of start
  • Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity required
  • Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30) with no exemptions
  • TB test documentation within 3 months of start date and updated if break >6 months
  • Physician Health Statement within 365 days of start date and updated if break >6 months
  • Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date and updated if break >6 months
  • Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date and updated if break >6 months
  • Resume including past 7 years of work experience required for submission
  • Two recent references required, minimum one supervisor or above in skillset
  • Skills checklist required for submission
  • Confirmation of Assignment/POI form required for all initial assignments and extensions
  • Education verification required through background check company
  • SSN trace required with criminal check
  • National sex offender check required within 30 days of start and updated annually
  • Exclusion checks required within 30 days of start and annually

    Schedule Information

  • Work schedule: Tuesday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM
  • On call Wednesday 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Weekends are on call only

    Additional Details

  • Shared housing provided at no cost
  • MGB Nantucket Housing Agreement required upon hire if staying in NCH housing
