Immediate 1st Shift Business Development Representative Job in Des Moines, IA!

Pay: $42,000/year, DOE (+ Commission)

Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm (Monday-Friday)

Job Responsibilities:

• Creating new business opportunities by developing relationships with key decision makers
• Prospecting and qualifying new target accounts in your assigned territory (in person cold calls, phone calls and social media research)
• Scheduling appointments with prospects and clients
• Making presentations & closing the sale
• Organizing day-to-day sales activity, optimizing productivity
• Successfully negotiating contract terms with new clients
• Maintain proper documentation of all required client files
• Meet daily, weekly, quarterly and years sales activity goals

Requirements:

• 6-12 months  minimum business development exp. (b2b sales)
• Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred, NOT required
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation & proof of insurance
• Problem solving and negotiating skills
• Ability to overcome objections
• Ability to work independently and meet goals
