Direct Hire position! Our client is a regional leader providing janitorial and packaging supplies to industries in the Cedar Valley. Our client offers a clean and safe workplace. They strive to balance providing strong customer service with a fun and respectful work environment! 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse and forklift skills is required. Location: Cedar Falls, Iowa Pay: $20/Hour Hours: 1^st^ shift 8:00am-4:30pm - there may be occasional overtime needed - shifts may need to start earlier, run longer, or weekend work may be required The ideal candidate will have a solid work history in material handling, forklift operation, and warehouse experience. Warehouse experience should include shipping or receiving functions, inventory counts, and pick and pack tasks. Job Responsibilities: Use a forklift or electronic pallet jack to pick and stage orders and deliver them to the dock Assist in reviewing orders to ensure accuracy and loading delivery trucks for the next day's deliveries Use a computerized system or order sheets to pick items and update inventory - must be experienced with RF scanners Rotate and replenish stock as needed Assisting with inventory cycle counts Other duties as assigned Skill Requirements: Ability to read, interpret and comprehend documents such as training instructions, shipping tickets, procedure manuals, etc. at a fast pace Ability to stand, lift, bend, and reach for 8-10 hours Regularly lift 40-60 pounds and lift up to 75 pounds Must be able to wear personal protection (ear plugs and safety glasses) Read, understand, and communicate all safety and operational procedures Work in a team environment and be flexible when production needs change #RemedyIntelligentStaffing #staffingagency #manufacturingjobs #warehousejobs #productionJobs #shippingandrecieving #1stshift #firstshift #nowhiring #openjobs #applynow #CedarFallsIowa #CedarFallsJob
