\n\nJob Details:
\n• 13-week assignment working nights
\n• 36 or 48 hours per week
\n• Must work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays; Christmas RTO requests cannot be approved
\n• Patient ratios of 4/5 for days, nights, and weekends
\n• Weekend coverage required
\n• 24 hours of orientation provided
\n• Up to 40 hours of RTO approved per contract
\n• Must have 2 years of ER experience required
\n• Must have either 1 year Level 1 trauma facility experience OR 2 years Level 2 trauma facility experience
\n• Experience with pediatric patients required (does not need to be dedicated pediatric ER)
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (can submit with TNCC pending but must have before start)
\n• Epic charting experience required
\n• BSN preferred
\n• Virginia license required (can submit with pending license but must have in hand Wednesday before start date)
\n• Nursys verification required for submittal
\n• May be required to float within scope of practice within the facility
\n• Care for patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, geriatrics
\n• Handle Level I trauma, comprehensive stroke, and chest pain (STEMI) cases

\nThis major academic medical center operates a high-volume emergency department with 71 rooms and 165 daily visits. The facility serves as both a Level I trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, providing advanced emergency care with extensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and interpretation services. The emergency department is equipped to handle complex cases and maintains the highest standards of trauma and emergency care.
