\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
\n• Float required to other units as needed
\n• Weekend coverage required every other weekend
\n• Patient ratio of 6:1 during night shifts
\n• Unit accepts first time travelers with minimum 1 year of experience
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
\n• LTAC (Long Term Acute Care) experience required
\n• Must be proficient in Cerner documentation system
\n• Medication system: Omnicell
\n• Communication system: SBAR
\n• Navy blue scrubs required
\n• 36 hours of orientation provided
\n• Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac conditions including heart failure, afib, stroke, and post cardiac procedures
\n• Required skills include cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, central line care, heparin protocols, managing cardiac drips without titration, CVA care, and airway management
\n• Work with pacemakers, post cardiac angiogram and catheterization patients
\n• Unit monitoring and remote telemetry responsibilities
\n• Participate in rapid response and code teams

\nThis healthcare facility operates a cardiac telemetry unit with a daily census of 160 patients, providing specialized care for cardiac and neurological conditions. The facility offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretarial support. The organization maintains modern technology systems and provides thorough orientation programs to ensure quality patient care delivery.
