Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring prior travel experience, FL or compact RN license, and proficiency with robotics and ortho/neuro cases.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position is in the hospital Operating Room (OR)
• Monday through Friday 8-hour day shifts from 0630 to 1500
• Call required: short call after shift once per week and a 12-hour call shift approximately once per month
• No call room available; call back time must be within 30 minutes
• Patients include ortho, oncology, bariatrics, vascular, neuro, trauma, and robotics cases
• Robotic surgery and ortho/neuro experience required
• Epic EMR is used in this facility
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized and potential to float to sister campuses
• Must function as core staff and integrate into the team culture
• Scrubs provided by the hospital
• Orientation begins on Friday with a combination of remote learning and onsite badging
• All holiday and schedule requests must be submitted prior to consideration; no requests approved after submission
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active FL or compact RN license required at time of application
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Robotics and ortho/neuro case experience required
• If degree is not accredited, 5 years of experience required
• Driver’s license address must match the Board of Nursing address
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; cannot own or cosign property within 50 miles
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
