Med/Surg Telemetry RN Job Details

• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Location: Burlington, MA 01805 (Greater Boston area)
• Start Date: November 24, 2025
• End Date: February 21, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2470 - $2540
• Hours per Week: 36 (72 hours biweekly guaranteed)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (rotating); every other weekend required (Fri/Sat/Sun for nights)
• Unit: Nursing Float Pool (may float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• ACLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications preferred
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred; required if no prior travel RN experience
• Must be separated from BILH for at least 6 months if previously employed (perm, per diem, or contract)
• Ability to pass day-one competency testing

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Float as needed to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other units (floating may occur in 4-hour blocks)
• Manage patient ratios between 1:4-6
• Participate in rotating night shifts and every other weekend coverage
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
• Demonstrate adaptability and strong communication skills while collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
