Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring IR/cath lab and critical care experience as well as BLS and ACLS certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in the diagnostic radiology department within a hospital setting
• Interventional Radiology and cath lab procedures are performed
• Monday through Friday 8-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 15:30
• Position includes on-call responsibility 2-3 times per week and rotating weekend call for emergency cases
• 13-week travel assignment
• Provide nursing care for patients during IR and cath lab procedures
• Expected to respond to emergency cases during on-call shifts including nights and weekends
• May be required to assist in related critical care procedures as needed

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology or cath lab
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Experience with basic critical care nursing such as in the ER or ICU
• Completion of DCI/BVP certification (can be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or CDC)
