The Sr. Business Analyst Long Distance (LD) plays a critical role in enabling commercial performance and customer experience improvements across Amtraks Long Distance Service Line (~15 routes, ~$800M revenue). This position goes beyond data analysis to include process support, strategic enablement, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement. The analyst will help run the LD performance-management cadence, translate strategic priorities into actionable workstreams, and provide insights that drive decision?making. The role requires strong analytical skills combined with the ability to manage processes, coordinate cross?functional initiatives, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
The salary/hourly range is $78,600.00 $101,844.00. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. Depending on an employees assigned worksite or location, Amtrak may consider a geo?pay differential to be applied to the employees base salary. Amtrak may offer additional incentive and pay programs to recognize and reward our employees, including a short?term incentive bonus based upon factors such as individual and company performance that is commensurate with the level of the position and/or long?term incentive plan compensation.
