About this role

We are looking for a highly motivated, hands-on Software Engineering intern who can contribute to the product, embed with the software engineering team, and learn the technical direction within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Take a small software project or subproject from a list, work with others to determine the needs, and follow it through to completion.
• Deliver a small presentation on that project to the VP of software.
• Collaborate with others using email, chat programs, project management programs, and version control systems.

Required Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering or related fields
• 3.0 or higher GPA
• Applicant must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing Masters degree in related field
• Computer programming experience
• Has programmed in C#, Java, JavaScript, or similar language
• Have a good understanding of basic data structures
• Familiarity with web services, public cloud technologies, JavaScript web development
• Can demonstrate a small application they have written from scratch
