An Interventional Radiology Physician performs minimally invasive image-guided medical procedures using modalities such as MRI, CT, X-rays, and ultrasound. The role requires board certification, fellowship training, and licensure in Texas, with duties split evenly between diagnostic imaging and interventional treatments like ablation and biopsies. The position includes onsite coverage during weekdays and on-call responsibilities during nights and weekends.
Professional Requirements:
Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
Fellowship Trained in Interventional Radiology (IR)
Licensed or ability to be licensed in Texas
Coverage Details:
Onsite IR Coverage: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Weeknight IR Call: Monday Friday, 5:00 PM 8:00 AM
Weekend IR Call: Saturday/Sunday, 8:00 AM 8:00 AM (24-hr)
Callback Pay:
Scheduling Options: 7 or 14-day stretches

Comfortable with a variety of imaging modalities
Must perform Y90, TRACE, ablation, biopsies, etc.
