Overview We’re searching for a Principal Software Engineer to lead architecture and development of both embedded and mobile software for next-generation medical technologies. This role blends hands-on design with strategic leadership , shaping software that meets global medical standards and delivers an exceptional user experience. Responsibilities Drive development of embedded systems and mobile apps that align with medical software regulations Lead cross-functional teams using Agile, Scrum, and CI/CD practices Define and standardize tools, frameworks, and methods to elevate code quality and efficiency Integrate usability and UI/UX design into every stage of development Apply cybersecurity and data integrity best practices across all connected systems Collaborate closely with hardware, QA, and product teams to bring connected medical solutions to life Requirements Strong Linux and hardware interface experience (I2C, SPI, USB, Wi-Fi, cellular) Knowledge of regulatory software frameworks (IEC 62304, cybersecurity guidance) Experience mentoring engineers and leading through influence This is an opportunity to own the full lifecycle—from concept through deployment—of software that truly improves patient outcomes.
