Job Description

A Brooklyn-based insurance company is hiring a Department Manager for its Personal Lines division. This role is responsible for overseeing the personal lines account managers, with a focus on efficiently handling new business opportunities and managing the policy renewal process. The ideal candidate is organized, deadline-oriented, and has prior experience in personal lines insurance management.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support all personal lines account managers to ensure smooth workflow.
• Oversee new business and renewal processes to meet deadlines and efficiency goals.
• Implement strategies to optimize client service and retention.
• Coordinate team efforts to identify new business opportunities within personal lines.
• Maintain a standard of accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction across all accounts.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience managing a personal lines insurance team or similar.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• In-depth knowledge of personal lines insurance policies and best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Salary: $85K-$110K
