Marketing Content Writer

Description

The Marketing Content Writer will create content that makes agents feel informed and empowers them to help clients choose the right life insurance or annuity solution. In this role, you will also support a strategic approach to creating impactful content experiences. This role will report through the Product and Sales Enablement area of the Marketing Organization.

Responsibilities

Content Development and Management

  • Create best-in-class content experiences that meet user needs and deliver business outcomes.
  • Produce top and mid-funnel content that is short, persuasive, informative, and targeted.
  • Execute on content briefs and build out content related to priority topic pillars.
  • Follow content principles, guidelines, and help define content templates and content models.
  • Provide writing, copyediting, and storytelling support to marketing teams across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience writing marketing and educational content for B2B or B2C. (e.g., consumer brochure, B2B guide, knowledge base, landing page) in the financial services industry
  • Ability to explain complex concepts simply and to organize content according to user needs.
  • Comfortable with data and financial concepts
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering results.
  • Ability to work in office three days a week (in Montpelier, VT, or Addison, TX)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with copyediting and working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage complex content projects.
  • Experience in the life insurance industry.
  • Agency or freelance experience
The base compensation range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to qualifications, skills, competencies, location, and experience. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees.

Other rewards may include an annual bonus, quarterly bonuses, commissions, and other long-term incentive compensation, depending on the position.
