Ultimate Staffing is partnering with an international company in search of a Logistics Specialist experienced in freight forwarding, ocean freight, and export logistics. This role supports global shipments across the LATAM market - ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and enjoys coordinating international supply chain operations.

Our client is looking to onboard within the next month. This is a full-time, onsite position in West Palm Beach (no remote flexibility or relocation assistance).

Fluency in English and Spanish (read, write, and speak) is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end coordination of international ocean freight shipments, from booking and scheduling to final delivery.
• Prepare, verify, and submit export documentation in accordance with global trade and customs regulations.
• Communicate daily with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time and compliant shipments.
• Manage customer orders, adjustments, and returns while maintaining accuracy across systems.
• Review and maintain essential shipping documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
• Monitor updates in export compliance, hazardous materials handling, and customs requirements.
• Provide responsive support to internal and external customers, resolving inquiries quickly and professionally.
• Utilize Excel and internal ERP/CRM tools to track shipments, maintain data accuracy, and generate logistics reports.
• Partner with teams across supply chain, sales, and regulatory affairs to streamline communication and improve process efficiency.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in freight forwarding, export logistics, or ocean freight coordination.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data tracking).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Experience with ERP or CRM systems (NetSuite experience a plus).
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive with strong time-management skills.
• Knowledge of hazmat documentation and U.S. customs filings is preferred.
