RevoluSun has installed more than 8,000 solar systems over the past ten years and we are looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join our team.

ELECTRICIAN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for leading electrical teams and ensuring that our solar installations are completed with the highest level of attention to workmanship and safety. In addition to the skills and experience outlined below, we are looking for someone who is passionate about the solar industry, is a team player, whose values are in line with our own and who has the ability to learn and follow our processes. 

Your typical day as an electrician will be spent at the job site performing the following duties: 

- Installing electrical service equipment, wiring, and devices required for the installation of residential solar PV systems.
- Leading the installation of electrical systems that interconnect our solar systems to the grid.
- Ensuring electrical work performed by your team's electricians is flawless workmanship and compliant with the current National Electrical Code as well as other relevant local codes.
- Acting as on-site supervisor for electrical teams and provide regular reports of team activities to electrical managers.
- Troubleshooting system problems and resolving electrical issues.
- Working with local inspectors to meet and satisfy local requirements and expectations.
- Training, mentoring and developing apprentices.
- Testing electrical systems (electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures) to ensure compatibility and safety of systems

JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN REQUIREMENTS:

To be considered for our Electrician opportunity, you must demonstrate the following:
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong attention to detail while producing accurate and high-quality work
- Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding
- Ability to bend conduit
- Understanding of string configuration
- Ability to complete voltage drop calculations and be familiar with amperage ratings as they relate to sizing wiring

Required Experience and Certifications:
- Active Hawaii Journeyman license
- 5+ years of residential or commercial electrical experience
- Experience installing/stringing electrical cable or wiring
- Experience installing electrical apparatus
- Experience executing terminations and AC tie-in.
- Solar experience is preferred, but not necessary. We will train the right candidate!

RevoluSun has a team environment and we seek an Electrician that is adaptable to helping the module crew complete the installation as necessary.
