Internship - Accounting Location: This position will be based out of our office in Whippany, NJ. Salary: Compensation for this internship will be $25 per hour. Position Overview: The Accounting Intern will support the North America Accounting team with various responsibilities, gaining practical experience in corporate accounting processes. This role involves assisting with account review, reconciliation, and analysis, with a focus on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets. The intern will contribute to balancing and reporting with the General Ledger in accordance with the monthly close cycle. This provides a valuable opportunity to learn about the accounting implications of business operations and support the accurate and timely fulfillment of financial obligations for Tiffany & Co. You will be encouraged to expand your skills, test creative boundaries, share new ideas, and contribute to the broader team. Key Accountabilities:

• Assist on account discrepancies/variances period over period, balance sheet and P&L and analyze and provide details where possible.
• Assist the intercompany team with manual billings and settlements across all markets. Run and post monthly reports and reconciliations, and liaise with international markets on variances and clean up.
• Provide support to the North America Accounting and Fixed Assets/Leasing Managers to help close the books for the monthly deadlines could include updating/posting of balances, generating reports, and investigating variances as required.
• Support ad hoc and special projects as required to help Accounting move forward in their corporate and strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate accounting or finance education
• Basic understanding of accounting concepts.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Aspiration to pursue a CPA post-Bachelor's degree.
• Prior internship experience in a finance or accounting role.
