DESCRIPTION
This position in the AWS Developer Experience team presents a unique and rare opportunity to get on the ground floor and help shape the product experience of a new service for developers. A successful candidate will bring technical and software expertise, desire to have an industry wide impact, and ability to work within a fast moving team to rapidly deliver services that have a broad business impact.
Key job responsibilities
Work closely with UX designers and product managers to develop friendly UI experiences.
Work closely with other engineers to architect and develop the best technical design.
Develop/maintain operational rigor for the frontend of a new AWS service.
Own and deliver key features within a new interactive developer focused experience
Collaborate with other AWS SDEs for features that cut across AWS.
Engage with customers and other AWS partners.
Optimize performance, accessibility, and maintainability of the platform's front-end components.

Basic Qualifications
3+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
2+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react
