Schedule: Day shift, may work into evening and some weekend hours
Salary: $50,000 - $52,000/yr.
Food Services Director essential tasks:
- Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the dietary department, including hiring, training, and evaluating employees.
- Develop and update procedures, control costs, and manage supplies.
- Collaborate with dieticians and nursing directors to prepare regular and special diets as per physician orders. Ensure compliance with sanitary regulations and consult with dieticians on operating and dietary issues.
- Supervise staff, schedule work shifts, and maintain safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage food ordering, deliveries, and inventory.
- Complete MDS and nutrition risk assessments, participate in care conferences and disaster planning drills.
- Adhere to safety protocols, HIPAA regulations, and organizational policies.
- Other duties as assigned by the Administrator.
Qualified candidates will have two years of experience in dietary management.
