Job Description

O'Neal Steel is looking for a Finance & Accounting Intern for the Summer 2026 semester at our Birmingham, AL corporate office.

As our Finance & Accounting Intern, you will work on various projects relating to our overall financial wellness, accounting practices, and strategic initiatives. This could include anything from budgeting and forecasting to streamlining our journal entry processes. You should have a basic understanding of GAAP, Excel, and other analysis software (such as Power BI). You must have strong time management skills, a deep sense of curiosity to drive continuous learning, and a desire to produce actual results as this is not a job shadow opportunity.

Candidates should be pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related fields.
