Executive Housekeeper StepStone Hospitality is seeking a passionate and experienced Executive Housekeeper for the iconic Renaissance Des Moines Savery Hotel. Join our team and lead a dedicated group committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and service, ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff, including counseling, termination, performance evaluations, training, and development. Assist in the development of the annual budget and monitor performance against the plan. Establish and maintain cost‑control systems for staffing, linen inventories, and cleaning supplies. Ensure quality services are rendered to meet guest needs. Schedule staff according to labor standards and forecasted occupancy. Maintain room quality based on StepStone and hotel guidelines. Monitor and maintain required cleanliness in rooms, storage areas, laundry, restrooms, and common areas. Enforce procedures for the acceptance, security, and return of guest lost and found items. Enforce procedures for security of on‑loan equipment. Maintain productivity and labor cost goals. Conduct inventories of linen, supplies, and equipment as required. Order and receive supplies to maintain adequate inventory levels. Immediately alert hotel management of emergency situations via all communication avenues. Use office and accounting software accurately. Requirements Minimum lifting of 20 pounds. Ability to push, bend, stoop, or reach upward; manual dexterity. Hearing, writing, and typing skills. Minimum pulling of 20 pounds. Other duties may be assigned.
