We are seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Equity Research Analyst specializing in Consumer Finance to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis of companies within the consumer finance sector, evaluating market trends, financial statements, and industry data to provide actionable insights to investors. You will work closely with senior analysts to develop investment strategies and recommendations.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive research on companies within the consumer finance sector, including financial modeling, competitive analysis, and industry trend monitoring.
2. Analyze financial statements, earnings reports, and other relevant data to evaluate company performance and identify investment opportunities.
3. Stay abreast of market developments, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic factors affecting the consumer finance industry.
4. Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and investment theses to communicate findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients.
5. Assist senior analysts in building and maintaining financial models, valuation frameworks, and investment databases.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related field.
2. Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
3. Excellent quantitative skills and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
4. Solid understanding of consumer finance industry dynamics, regulatory environment, and market trends.
5. Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and analysis in a clear and concise manner.
6. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
7. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases.
