Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team in a dynamic and technically advanced environment. The position involves setting up and operating electro-discharge machines to produce high-quality turbine engine aerospace parts. The role requires a strong focus on quality and efficiency, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and fix defects in machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Load and set up parts in the machine and inspect them for quality.
• Operate both conventional and 5-axis EDM machines, which may be water-based, oil-based, or wire EDMs.
• Perform quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Interpret blueprints and drawings accurately.
• Troubleshoot and fix defects with the machinery.
• Prepare various logs and records to document machine operation and daily production.
• Set up and switch jobs as required, with training provided.
• Maintain an efficiency of more than 98% on a daily basis.

Essential Skills:

• Basic computer skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with CNC or other metal machine operation.
• Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and other measurement devices.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and write English.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, OH.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
