KSE Broadcast Services Department creates video and motion graphic content for Ball Arena, Dick's Sporting Goods Park, and associated social media platforms.

Nature of Work:

Develop video content for various KSE social and digital platforms, including concept development, video editing and production. Most video projects will be quick-turn, high-impact video concepts specifically created for social media, in collaboration with strategic direction from the team content groups. Most of these elements should fit seamlessly into the overall look and attitude of team graphics and marketing. Strong creativity, excellent communication skills, willingness to work game nights and weekends, and the ability to multi-task are required.

Examples of work performed:

• Work with Content team, Digital Producer, and department leads to conceptualize and create videos tailored to intended social and digital platforms
• Assist in development of the look, feel, and design for videos
• Composition and production of multiple videos as requested
• Understand brand, team and marketing objectives, contributing to the evolution and success of the overall business
• Keep informed on new technology, trends and editing techniques
• Develop layouts and storyboards

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

• Typical Office & Video Editing Conditions
• The position is mostly remote with a mandated anchor day in-office.
• Will have an editing station in-office.

Qualifications

• Minimum
  1. BA degree in Video Production or related field preferred.
  2. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in Video Editing or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Preferred
  1. Experience in After Effects a plus

Competencies/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Excellent video editing skills
• Well-versed in Adobe software including Premiere Pro and Photoshop
• Video Camera Shooting skills a plus
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Comprehensive knowledge of sports is preferred.
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule/days and hours is essential.

Compensation

• Base Salary/Hourly Range: $20 - $22 per hour
• Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
