Our paid internships run 100% on-site from May/June through August/September, and all candidates must be actively enrolled students during the program.

Responsibilities

• Automate Quality Metrics: Design and implement processes to extract, transform, and load (ETL) source data into usable formats, reducing manual reporting effort.
• Develop Interactive Dashboards: Build a Power BI dashboard that provides real-time visibility into quality performance and supports business decision-making.
• Create AI-Based Tools: Develop an AI-driven interface to assess risks and predict potential quality failures, leveraging machine learning concepts.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with IT to secure data access and integrate enterprise systems, ensuring compliance with security and governance standards.
• Deliver Business Impact: Provide solutions that improve operational efficiency, enhance data accuracy, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Gain

This internship offers a unique opportunity for the student to apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges in data analytics, automation, and AI. The intern will gain hands-on experience working with enterprise systems and MS365 tools to automate quality metrics, develop interactive dashboards in Power BI, and build AI-driven solutions for risk assessment and predictive quality analysis. They will collaborate with IT and business teams, gaining exposure to cross-functional processes and decision-making. This experience provides practical skills in high-demand areas, portfolio-worthy deliverables, and valuable networking opportunitiespreparing the student for a successful career in data science, analytics, or technology-driven business roles.

The hourly wage range for this position is $25- $43. The final offer amount may vary and is based on the candidates' year in school. The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.

Qualifications

• Data Science / Data Analytics: For expertise in data transformation, visualization, and predictive modeling.
• Computer Science: For strong programming skills and familiarity with automation and AI/ML concepts.
• Additional Preferred Skills & Tools:
• Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and MS365 tools.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data transformation.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML techniques for predictive analytics.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with IT and business teams.
• Must be able to commute and work on-site 5 days a week.
• Must be currently enrolled as a fulltime student at an accredited four-year college or university.
• Experience with MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to decipher technical documents with experience reading engineering drawings. Excellent communication skills both written and spoken.
