Job Title: Credentialing Specialist

Location: New York, NY 10004

Duration: 14 Weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Work Setting: Onsite (No remote option)

Job Summary:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Credentialing Specialist for an exciting job in New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage provider credentialing processes including initial appointment, reappointment, and ongoing audits.

  • Oversee clinical privileging activities per policy and regulatory requirements.

  • Utilize MDStaff to conduct, update, and monitor credentialing files and background checks.

  • Ensure compliance with accrediting bodies, regulatory agencies, and internal standards.

  • Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date provider credentialing records.

  • Interpret credentialing regulations and apply them to daily operations.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to support timely provider onboarding.

  • Perform all tasks onsite and adhere to institutional guidelines.

Required Skills:

  • Credentialing and audit experience

  • Proficiency with MDStaff or similar credentialing software

  • Strong attention to detail and data integrity

  • Knowledge of healthcare credentialing standards, regulations, and compliance requirements

  • Excellent organization and communication skills
