Part-time Clinical Staff Pharmacist providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care in an ambulatory pharmacy, including interpreting orders, compounding and dispensing medications, counseling patients, and preventing adverse drug events. Supervises and precepts pharmacy technicians, students, and residents, maintains medication profiles and care plans, and provides drug information to the healthcare team. Requires PharmD or BS Pharmacy and state licensure (or eligibility); preferred 2+ years retail experience; variable day/evening shifts up to ~20 hours/week with no benefits.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy and current state licensure or eligible for licensure to practice pharmacy from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
2 or more years of experience in a retail pharmacy
