Certified Medical Assistant - CMA – Assisted Living Facility

$200/Weekly Gross

$25/Hourly

8 hours/Week (PRN)

MORE ABOUT THE C MA  CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT POSITION:

CareerStaff Unlimited partners with companies around the country to raise the bar in healthcare by setting new standards for quality care and personalized service. Responsibilities for this Certified  Medical Assistant opportunity include, but are not limited to:

1. Demonstrate excellence in customer service and public relations to promote a positive professional image
2. Work independently with attention to detail and possess the necessary knowledge of all aspects of daily operations
3. Administer medications to residents as prescribed by healthcare providers
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication administration, documenting any deviations or issues
5. Ensure the proper storage and security of medications per facility policies
6. Regularly measure and record residents' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate
7. Monitor residents' health conditions and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
8. Monitor and report any discrepancies in medication inventory

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE C MA CERTIFIED  MEDICAL ASSISTANT:

1. 1+ years of recent experience required
2. BLS issued through American Heart Association
3. Must be eligible to work in the United States 
4. Active Certification through the AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA
