The Division of Cardiology and the CardioVascular Center (CVC) at Tufts Medical Center in Boston is recruiting for an early-career faculty position focused on general clinical cardiology and echocardiography.

About the Division of Cardiology and Tufts Medical Center:

1. The Division is part of the CardioVascular Center, an integrated Heart and Vascular Center with financial and strategic alignment across Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, and Vascular Surgery.
2. Has robust and growing interdisciplinary programs in cardiac arrhythmia, structural heart disease, valvular disease, and ischemic heart disease.
3. Performs approximately 1,000 cardiac surgical operations per year
4. Has one of the largest heart transplant programs in the country; in 2024, the Advanced HF program performed a record 70 heart transplants, the most of any center in New England.
5. Trains the next generation of cardiologists through an ACGME-accredited fellowship program

How you’ll transform patient care:

1. You’ll join an outstanding team of cardiologists and imagers involved in complex in-patients and a wide array of out-patients
2. You’ll care for patients with both out-patient and in-patient clinical service time

Who you are:

1. BC/BE in Cardiovascular Disease
2. Substantial interest in general clinical cardiology and the high-quality care of out-patients
3. Level II or III training in echocardiography as well as current or anticipated Board Certification in Echocardiography
4. Substantial experience with transthoracic and transesophageal echo, stress echo, and techniques such as strain and 3D echocardiography
5. Interest and experience in academics highly desirable, with substantial opportunities for teaching and research

Compensation:
Tufts Medical Center offers a competitive salary commensurate with training and practice experience. A faculty appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine will be offered commensurate with academic qualifications.

Location: Tufts Medical Center, the principal teaching hospital for Tufts University School of Medicine in Downtown Boston.
