Job Description

Meridian Technologies is currently seeking a BI Report Developer for an opportunity in Brookhaven, Georgia!

Summary

· BI Report Developer

· Location: Brookhaven, GA 30319

· 3-month contract with a strong possibility of extension

· Must be willing to work onsite in Brookhaven’s office

· Work Authorization: Must be able to work on W2 as a Meridian Employee

Job Responsibilities:

  • Business Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable insights for reporting purposes.
  • OCM Training: Provide training and support to end-users on how to effectively use reports and dashboards, ensuring maximum adoption and utilization.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation of reporting processes, data structures, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and maintain consistency.
  • Report Development: Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar, focusing on user-friendly and visually compelling presentations of data.
  • Data Visualization: Develop creative and effective data visualizations that communicate complex information in a clear and understandable manner, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of reports by conducting thorough testing and validation of data sources, maintaining data integrity throughout the reporting process.
  • Customer Interaction: Engage directly with customers to gather requirements, provide updates, and deliver reports that meet their needs and expectations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in business intelligence reporting, with a focus on the insurance industry.
  • Proficiency in reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar, along with strong SQL skills for data retrieval and manipulation.
  • Experience with Snowflake is a plus.
  • Understanding of insurance data structures and business processes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data insights into clear, actionable reports.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail, ensuring thorough documentation and adherence to best practices.
