Qualifications:

• 6+ months of Technician/Mechanic Experience Preferred
• Proficient in use of Common Automotive Repair Tools and Equipment
• ASE, MOPAR, or Mitsubishi Certification Preferred
• Valid Driver's License Required

Responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards
• Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and repair in a timely manner
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment
• Perform quality inspections of vehicle repairs prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
• Explain mechanical problems and needed repairs to the service advisors and with customers in a non-technical manner
• Continually learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay in-line with rapidly changing automotive technology
• Communicate directly with the service advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
• Maintain a safe environment while keeping the customer's car clean
• Work diligently as a team player with a positive attitude
